About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Next.js Developer to join our growing engineering team in Ahmedabad. If you are passionate about building high-performance web applications, writing clean and scalable code, and working with modern frontend technologies, we'd love to hear from you.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining production-grade applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript while collaborating closely with designers, backend engineers, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications using Next.js and React.
- Build reusable UI components with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS.
- Optimize applications for performance, SEO, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals.
- Integrate REST APIs and GraphQL services.
- Collaborate with backend developers and UI/UX designers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve application stability.
- Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies and best practices.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Strong expertise in Next.js, React.js, and TypeScript.
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).
- Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS and responsive design.
- Strong understanding of Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR).
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Knowledge of state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Context API, etc.).
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern web standards.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Familiarity with modern build tools and deployment pipelines.
- Understanding of web security, authentication, and authorization.
- Experience optimizing applications for SEO and performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Node.js and backend integration.
- Knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
